Precision Machining and Inspection

For particularly demanding applications, our KERN ultra-precision machining capability enables components to be produced to extremely tight tolerances where required.
All of our milling machines also incorporate Renishaw probing and tool measurement technology.
Engineering Materials and Finishing
Components can be machined from a wide range of metals, specialist alloys and engineering plastics.
Materials include aluminium, stainless steel, brass, titanium, Inconel, Super Duplex, Invar, Kovar, Toughmet, PEEK and acetal.
Where specified, WLR can also coordinate processes such as anodising, chrome or nickel plating, specialist coatings, heat treatment, hardness testing and non-destructive examination.
